"Of Age":

Kindergarten age that is. Gage turned 5 years old last week, and had a fabulous time doing so. My awesome sister Erin, (actually ALL my sisters are awesome but I will have to go into that later) told me she would make me a cake for my birthday (January) I LOVE her cakes...so yummy!! We already had something else planned for my birthday, so she gave me a rain-check that I redeemed for Gage's birthday. She showed up with this darling Pirate's hat and absolutely made Gage's day.

FYI: I am aware that there are only 2 candles, he wanted us to do minimal damage to the cake :)

Joe's homemade bike ramps have been well used, and definitley served their purpose, but Gage got a new set of ramps from my parents and has used them everyday since! After the gifts were opened the boys headed off to put together a lego set, so Cori saw a window of opportunity and made a fast break for the garage, showing back up with her scooter to show off her mad skills. We were all impressed.

It was Gage's turn for a party and he wanted to take a few friends (and of coarse, Mom, Dad, Jed, and Corinne) to Fat Cat's and do some Glow in the Dark miniature Golf. It was fun, and the kids were so well behaved, pretty lucky boy to have such great kids to grow up with!

In the end, everyone was pretty tuckered out...including Mom and Dad, but the BIG 5 was a success!

Glad he liked the cake. Sounds like a great birthday. That picture of Cori is priceless.
