Goes Without Saying...

This morning the boys spent their time picking up apples. They are trying to do a few extras to earn money for Joe's birthday present. One of them may have worked a little harder than the other.

"The other" was easily distracted by how fascinating a rotten apple can really be... I've found many ordinary things are fascinating when work is involved.

They thought they came up with a great system...

until all the apples rolled out of the dump truck on the way up the garbage can, but in the end, the job was successful and we are going shopping later today.

I loved the plan! Too bad the dump truck isn't a little more reliable.

That is so cute. I love it when he gets distracted, he becomes very focused on his "distraction". He makes me laugh. And Gage is such a good little worker.
