Work.

A little hard work does the body (and the soul) good.
And so it begins- log splitting.


Day 1....off to a good start.


Brief pause.


Day 2...there were a few minor distractions, all of which were very boy appropriate, therefore, totally forgivable. There were club houses and monster truck jumps to be built (so many uses for old logs), toads to be found, butterflies to be observed, and a sister to be ignored.




A huge toad was a perfect addition to the pond. The boys had to make sure he felt at home before they could resume work.
